Onion, garlic, leek (Allium spp) have been grown on 20 000 ha in Serbia, mostly on smaller surface areas. 10% of surface areas are under spring onions while the rest is under mature onions. Agromarket provides onion for Serbian market owing to cooperation with leading seed houses such as Mosselman and domestic producers such as Agriculture cooperative Novi Knezevac.
A.C.Mosselman B.V. was founded as family company in the town of Kruiningen in Holland in 1945. The company’s HQ is still in this town. Production of seed onion is performed mostly in Holland, and distribution from distributive center near Rotterdam. Garlic is sold calibrated 8/16 and 8/21, packed in packages of 1kg and 25kg.
